About us: Humanity at Heart International Association (H@H) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to reducing cancer-related suffering by improving public health literacy and facilitating equitable access to breast and cervical cancer information, screening, diagnosis, and timely treatment for underserved women in Cameroon.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring hope to the hopeless by raising public awareness and improving community health literacy with a focus on the importance of:

  • Early detection and diagnosis
  • Facilitating timely access to treatment especially for the underserved

Our Vision

Our vision is to see a healthy and productive society where every woman has:

  • Accurate cancer information
  • Affordable breast and cervical cancer screening,
  • Equitable access to timely treatment, and when needed, palliative care.

Our Focus Areas

Creating Awareness

. Community Education: Prevention & Awareness

Focus Raising awareness, early detection strategies, and health literacy.

• Goal: To reduce late-stage diagnoses by providing knowledge that saves lives and empowers individuals to take charge of their health.

Patient Navigation

Patient Navigation and Timely Access to care.

• Focus: Efficient, end-to-end support through the healthcare system, reducing systemic barriers.

• Goal: To ensure equitable and timely diagnosis and treatment access for all patients through our Walk Bold, Live Strong (#WBLS) campaign.

Empowerment

Survivor Reintegration: Empowerment & Livelihoods

• Focus: Post-treatment support, financial independence, and community reintegration through vocational training and financial aid.

• Goal: To ensure survivors can return to a stable, dignified, and productive life via the "Rise & Thrive" and "Adopt-A-Patient" Programs.

Advocacy

Advocacy: Policy & Equitable Care

• Focus: Influencing systems and health policy to prioritize people-centered care and equitable resource allocation.

• Goal: To secure institutional commitments that make life-saving care a right, not a privilege, regardless of background.
