The core principles of integrity, respect, and responsibility shape the work of Humanity at Heart International Association. We have a collaborative approach and seek to work in partnership with communities, oncology experts, health leaders, and governments as much as possible
What we do
We believe EARLY detection saves lives, so we Educate, Advocate, Reach out with Love, and Yield good results.
Advocacy
We promote cancer prevention through policy advocacy, education, and improving access to healthcare services for early detection and treatment, with a focus on securing funding for prevention efforts.
WeCreate Awareness
We raise public awareness on cancer prevention (Risk factors, early signs and symptoms), by encouraging cancer screenings for early detection, diagnosis and treatment.
Patient Navigation
We provide support to women with pre-cancer or cancer concerns through a patient navigation system. Navigators and survivors guide newly diagnosed patients through their treatment journey and help them access care at different health facilities.
We Empower
We empower survivors through workshops and training on income-generating skills such as soap making, hairdressing, tailoring, and mini businesses. We also provide starter funds to help them launch businesses and support their families and communities.
